Meet Our Founders

Two Sisters. One Shared Vision.

United by a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to helping every child learn, grow, and thrive

Felecia Watson is a native Californian, entrepreneur, author of two novels, motivational speaker, and mentor with My Sisters Keeper, a nonprofit organization supporting girls ages 8–18. Alongside raising two children and enjoying life as a grandmother of fourteen, she has spent more than three decades building leadership experience while remaining dedicated to empowering families and young people.

Veronica Harris is a native Californian, mother of three, and grandmother of six with more than 25 years of experience in early childhood education. Throughout her career, she has focused on preparing preschool-aged children for academic success while strengthening the connection between home and school. She also serves as Director of My Sisters Keeper, where she mentors and supports young girls in the community.

Together, they founded Head Start Prep Academy with one mission: to provide exceptional early childhood education in a safe, loving environment where every child is encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
